Designed as a higher end speculative house, luxury by way of economy was key. Simple forms, contrasting colours, tones and materials create a minimalist design aesthetic yet cost effect way to construct. Views to the Kaimai Ranges are showcased with expansive glazing while privacy from the roadside elevated perspective is controlled by use of timber battening.
